We’ve partnered with Live Thrive's CHaRM to recycle the materials in your Hard-to-Recycle Bag! The items are received at Live Thrive’s CHaRM where they are prepared to be refurbished, re-engineered, or recycled through local partners. 96% of all materials brought to Live Thrive's CHaRM are reused, recycled, or reengineered.
Live Thrive's CHaRM is an Atlanta-based, non-profit that is committed to verification and transparency, maintaining records and regularly auditing their supply chain. You can explore how each material is processed, here.

How does your glass recycling service work?
• CompostNow members can subscribe to our glass recycling service via our online store.
• You’ll receive your glass recycling container on your next collection day.
• Put your food-grade glass, like glass bottles and jars, in your glass recycling container.
• When ready for collection, simply put your glass recycling container out beside your compost bin on your collection day.
• We’ll collect your glass and send it to Strategic Materials to be turned into new glass items or insulation.
Please note that glass must be empty, clean, and dry with caps and corks removed. We cannot take any glass placed outside of the container. This service is currently limited to 1 container per household.
